Sturup (S) | ||
Address: PH: (46)
4045 6401 Sweden's smallest racetrack, near Malmö, Sturup opened in 1989 and is mainly used for track days and testing. In 2001 it was bought by Team Brask, who plan to use it as the base for all their testing, development and corporate days. Sturup is well-placed for the Danish team - only 35 minutes from central Copenhagen - the Danish capital - and adjacent to Sturup Airport which is served by direct flights from London. The six biggest Southern Swedish cities are all within a maximum of one hours drive from the circuit. There will be extensive development to the venue over the next few years including the building of a modern hotel and an extension to the circuit which will take the overall length to 2.1km. Planning regulations at the facility are ideal - the track can be used 365 days a year and there are no noise restrictions. Circuit Length:
0.684 miles/1.100 km, eight turns |
