Lucky Peak Dam

Lucky Peak dam is located on the Boise River approximately 10 miles northwest of Boise. It is a 245-feet-high, earth-filled dam completed in 1954. It is used for irrigation, power generation and flood control. The storage capacity of the reservoir is approximately 306,000 acre feet.
