I'm a moderator at Google Globetrotting, so we had to go through what I'm about to describe to you.

When Google added Maps level information to Japan, they adjusted the locations of the entire country. This put existing map links for everything off by a bit. The links for most everything in Japan created before the shift now point a bit to the NW of where the object is. So the object is to the SE. In the Tokyo Tower map, for instance, the tower is now just off the map to the SE from where the link is pointing.

This mostly effects small sized objects. Buildings, airplans, etc. For larger objects, like airports or theme parks, the shift is not enough to move the link off of the object, and so adjustment is not necessarily needed. But all map links to smaller objects in Japan need to be adjusted.

My guess, and this is only a guess, if that they were somehow off the first time, and adjusted the locations to get it right.

Very good. But part of my point was that *all* entries in Japan, especially the smaller ones, need to be adjusted. Not just this one.
