From: Silicon SamThe track was built by my family and a few others in the Summer of '67, only ran races in '68 to '70. Closed due to poor money management. The object in the old parking lot is a R/C airplane place built a few years ago. The grandstands were removed in '82 and used to build Sun Bowl Speedway in El Paso. All other buildings were demolished. Sun Bowl is long gone too.
