Wow- should this be a transient entry? It appears the Concorde is in the middle of a pushback, which makes me wonder if it is G-BOAB or another Concorde.

I believe it could be, but judging from where its at in the picture, but I'm not sure if its in a pushback or a tow. Zooming in on the pushback tractor doesn't shed any light on which way the plane is going (however, if its the same type I used when working at an airport, it is pushing back)

Perhaps there's someone out there who worked ground service on or around the concords either in NY or Heathrow who can tell us if they know any background to this.

I believe it's being towed because there is a vehicle following it. If it's being pushed back, he'd better get out of the way!

But where the f*** is the Concorde? Not in the opening picture. I found one which is half on the tarmac and half on the grass.

No kidding. All I see is a road curving around a building. If you're going to post an image here, at least make sure the coordinates are correct!

Relax, it was there before this location was updated with a new, higher resolution image, from a later date. Google is constantly updating their Satellite Maps. Things disappear or move all the time.

I updated this image to the new Concorde location. The pushback Concorde (and others) are now gone, which just means Google updated their images.

Definitely relax- that's what the "report errors" button is for. Transient images are just that- transient.
