{{linkless-date|July 2006}} The '''Dinosaur Park''' in Rapid_City,_South_Dakota, United_States, was dedicated on May_22 1936. Admission is free; steep flagstone stairs may limit handicapped accessibility. It contains seven Dinosaur sculptures on a hill overlooking the city. It was WPA_Project #960 and the dinosaurs were designed by Emmet Sullivan. Mr Sullivan also designed the Brontosaurus at Wall_Drug Store nearby in the Badlands of South Dakota. He also created the Christ of the Ozarks statue in Eureka_Springs,_Arkansas and the dinosaurs in Dinosaur World in Beaver,_Arkansas. All the dinosaurs are on Skyline Drive in a park maintained by the city of Rapid City. Supposedly based on fossils found in Badlands_National_Park, species represented include the Brontosaurus, Tyrannosaurus_Rex, Triceratops, Stegosaurus, and a duck-billed species. Originally only consisting of gray concrete, around 1960 the statues were painted a bright green with white undersides.
