According to Merriam Webster, a ranch is 1 : a large farm for raising horses, beef cattle, or sheep 2 : a farm or area devoted to a particular specialty. Besides a few pets, the Bush mansion has no farms or livestocks of any sort.

The Crawford Mansion is named "Crawford Ranch" so that it makes George W Bush seem more like a regular guy, so a "ranch" it is.

I won't be renaming it from 'ranch'. It isn't a chapel either, but it is the name most people know this place by.

Prairie Chapel is a historical name for the area where the President's property is located. And, it's a lot closer to being a ranch than this other "ranch."

But I thought the other "ranch" was used for herding young boys....so it should still be called a ranch. A bit twisted, sure, but still a ranch...
