Sillon means furrow. two opposing streams have left a 2 miles long arrow made of pebblestones cutting the sea like a furrow. Of course in Britanny there is a legend explaining it another way, a king wanted to meet a fairy who was standing on a rock, she fell in love and threw one white pebble after another in the see until they could meet.
